The Peterbilt 359 was the first long-nosed conventional truck with a 289 single drive produced from 1967 to 1987. The truck was so popular that in 1987 Peterbilt made a 359 Classic and only made 359 truck with a special numbered plaque on the dash.
Being that this was a very popular truck for Peterbilt the successor 379 has some big sues to fill.
